Niclas Kühnapfel

Niclas Kühnapfel is a Ph.D. student and the chair for Security in Telecommunications (SecT) - TU Berlin, led by Prof. Dr. Jean-Pierre Seifert. Niclas' research interests cover hardware, embedded, and platform security. While finishing a master's, Niclas presented research about covert communication channels at the ACSA ACSAC and electromagnetic fault injection targeting the AMD-ASP at IEEE PAINE conference. Niclas holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Communication Systems Engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin. During their studies, Niclas gained experience in electrical engineering and computer science.
